Radhika Apte, known for realistic roles is a famous Indian film and stage actress. The famed actor Rahul Bose got impressed by seeing her enduring acting in play ‘Bombay Black’and recommended her name to the well-known director ‘Anirudha Roy Chaudhary’ who cast her in his Bengali film ‘Antaheen’. The lady, with eyes that speaks a thousand words, has performed in many languages including Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, etc. She gathered widespread praise in three of her 2015 Bollywood productions counting the thriller Badlapur, the comedy Hunterrr and the biographical film Manjhi- the Mountain Man for her supporting work.
Her leading roles in the 2016 independent films ‘phobia and parched’ earned her further acclaim. In 2018, Apte performed in the anthology film ‘Lust Stories’, the thriller series ‘Sacred Games’, and the upcoming horror ‘Miniseries Ghoul ’ which comes under the banner of Netflix Productions.
In conjunction with this, Apte also has played the starry-eyed attention of the lead male character in the Marathi crime thriller ‘Lai Bhaari’, the Tamil drama ‘Kabali’ and the Hindi biographical film ‘Pad Man’, all of are the big hit on silver screen.
