Early Life: Parineeti Chopra, cousin of Priyanka Chopra, is a famous Bollywood actress and singer. Born on 22nd October 1988 in Ambala, Haryana. Her father, Pawan Chopra, is a business man whereas mother Reena Chopra is a housewife. Her schooling is from Convent of Jesus and Mary school, Ambala. From the very young age, she aspired to be an investment banker. At the age of 17, she went to England, Manchester Business School, from where she did her triple honours degree in business, finance and economics. Parineeti also had interest in singing which led her to train herself in Hindustani classical music and was used to perform songs with her cousin Priyanka Chopra and their fathers in their childhood. Career: Parineeti used to work in an executive position in Yash Raj Films, but while she was promoting “Band Baaja Baaraat”, she realised that she wanted to become an actress and resigned her previous executive job to attend acting school. Thereby in 2011, she started her acting career by making her debut in a romantic comedy “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl”, as a supporting role alongside with Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. Undoubtedly she was the best among the others in the movie and was praised by a lot of film critics. Her second movie was “ Ishaqzaade”, opposite Arjun Kapoor, which proved to be a great hit at the box office. In 2013 she did “Shuddh Desi Romance” alongside Shushant Singh and Vaani Kapoor. In 2017, she did another Yash Raj’s film “Meri pyari Bindu” opposite Ayushmann Khurana. This is the movie for which Chopra played a role of playback singer performing two versions of the song “Manna ke hum yard Nahin”. After that, she did Golmaal returns starring Ajay Devgan, which turned out to be a blockbuster and crossed over 311 crores at the box office.
Achievements: Chopra received National Film Award for “ Isaqzaade” in 2012 and Filmfare best female debut for the movie “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl” in 2011. In addition to acting, she is a humanitarian and is a brand ambassador for various brands and products.
