Himanshi Khurana was a student of medical science in ludhiana’s BCM Sr Secondary School. Her father wanted to become a nurse but Himanshiwas more inclined towards artistic activities. Whenwas in 11th standard, one of their family friends captured her photographs and noticed that Himanshi is very photogenic. He asked her to try modelling. She started her career as a model. At the age of 16, Himanshi participated in Miss Ludhiana Contest and she was also the winner of the show. In 2010, she participated in the Miss PTC Punjabi show and she was selected among the top 10 finalists of the show. In the same year, Himanshi participated in the Miss North Zone contest and she became the winner of the show. In 2010, She, then, relocated to delhi and started doing shoots of various brands.
