FAMILY: She is the daughter of mother Jeanette D’Souza who was a managing director of the Pharma Multinational Corporation but she left her job in 2004 to help Genelia with her career and father Neil D’Souza, who is a senior official with Tata Consultancy Services. She grew up with her younger brother named Nigel D’Souza, who works with the Bombay Stock Exchange. On 3 February 2012, she married to Ritesh Deshmukh, who is also a prominent Actor and the couple welcomed their first son Riaan on 25 November 2014 and on 1 June 2016, they welcome their second son named Rahyl. Her favorite actors are Amithabh Bachchan, Om Puri and Shah Rukh Khan as well as her favorite actresses are Aishwariya Rai and Sandra Bullock.
