Anjana Om Kashyap Journalist and Anchor in India. She is the executive editor of the Indian news channel ‘Aaj Tak’ and is famous for her shows “Halla Bol” and “Indian Report”. She is popularly known for her fiery and aggressive stance on social issues.

She was born on 12 June 1975 (age 44 years; in 2019) in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, the capital of India. Her family has its roots in Arrah city of Bihar. Their zodiac sign is Gemini. She did her schooling at Loreto Convent School, Ranchi. She aspired to become a doctor and after completing her schooling, she appeared for several pre-medical admission tests.

However, she could not crack any of them. Anjana then enrolled in the Daulat Ram College of Delhi University to receive honors in Botany. She did his post-graduation in social work from the Delhi School of Social Works. Subsequently, she prepared for UPSC exams but failed to pass them again. Anjana Om Kashyap Biography – Anjana is wedded to Mangesh Kashyap, in the year 1995 batch IPS officer. The two first met while studying at the University of Delhi. The couple has a son and a daughter.

Anjana started her career as a journalist in 2003 with the show “Aankhen Dekhi” on Doordarshan. In the same year, she resigned from her post at Doordarshan and joined Zee News. She worked as a desk job holder for almost five years and then joined News24 as an anchor in 2007. In News 24, she hosted the debate show “Do Tuk” and gained widespread popularity for her fair and unbiased attitude towards all. Subsequently, she briefly joined ABP News before moving to Aaj Tak where she debuted shows like “Rajatilak” and “Dil Ke Paas Kya Hai”.

Controversies 

Aaj Tak faced this when her anchor Ashok Singhal asked HRD Minister Smriti Irani an unfair question while she was giving a speech at Delhi University. Singhal asked Irani the reason for appointing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Minister of Human Resource Development despite being young and on the issue of her degree. The show was being co-starred by Anjana, who also came into controversy due to being a silent audience.
