He started his career as a playback singer. He gave his voice for the first time in the 1983 film Nigahain. In 2006, he Composed the song for the film “American Blend”. In 2010, he along with his brother, Daboo Malik, directed a local show named “Pankhida Aao Mhare Saath.” In 2011, he opened a company named “Musicman Malik Entertainment Private Limited.” Reportedly, he has produced more than 10,000 shows around the world.
